Dolly Blues get their just reward

DESPITE dominating possession for long periods in an admittedly scrappy game Lancaster had to settle for a point at a sun-baked Bower Fold.
With a dry surface delivering an unpredictable bounce it was City’s direct style that gave them the upper hand.
Christian Sloan’s snapshot was deflected wide and Rhys Turner whipped a half volley just over the bar as the Dolly Blues pressed.
Turner almost gave them the lead when he crashed a header against the bar and again went close as City dominated.
