CITY of Liverpool gained their first league win of the campaign while Brighouse must wait.
Brighouse captain Kurt Harris opened the scoring. Josh Grant swung it in from the right, keeper Scott Reed missed the ball and Harris headed in.
In the 31st minute, a Tony Gray flick-on beat defender Harrison Beeden in the air and fell to the feet of Nathan Burke who curled the ball right-footed into the bottom corner.
