CIRENCESTER surrendered their 100 per cent start to the campaign to a strong Sholing side.
The leaders went into the match with their defence unbreached in 380 minutes of league football. They added another 80 minutes to this tally before Brad Targett held off his marker and tucked the ball past Dan Lawrence.
Earlier, Cirencester had enjoyed the better possession without being able to fashion many clear openings. Sholing’s striker Daniel Mason crashed a shot against the crossbar with 20 minutes remaining.
