DESPITE opening the scoring Grantham found themselves on the end of a hammering.
Lancaster opened brightly but Grantham took the lead on 16 minutes when Brad Grayson scored following a long throw that was spilled by the Lancaster keeper.
Lancaster equalised on 23 minutes when Sam Fishburn turned and fired pat Jim Pollard in the Grantham goal.
