■ STUART Crilly’s stunning strike saw Runcorn Linnets return home with three points from their trip to Leek on Friday night.
The former Chester FC academy starlet produced a moment of brilliance on the stroke of half-time to settle a defence-dominated game.
The win lifted the visitors into the top seven ahead of yesterday’s games.
Both sides were forced into early substitutions, Billy Reeves lasting just seven minutes for Leek, while the Linnets’ MJ Monaghan limped off midway through the half.
