STAFFORD Rangers were left to rue missing a list of first-half opportunities as they were held by a Gainsborough side who had lost five of their first six away games.
It was an ultimately disappointing encounter, with Trinity happier with the point as a number of the sides below them in the Northern Premier League Premier table won.
Rangers started the game well and had the game’s opening chance on six minutes when Andrew Burns crossed to an unmarked Ethan Stewart who should have scored but his effort sailed over the bar.
