IT was fitting that a chaotic second half ended with confusion around who had scored FC United of Manchester’s winning goal in the last minute.
As it happens a touch by Greg Hall, Witton Albion’s goalkeeper, was the one that diverted the ball over the line after a deep corner had initially struck a team-mate.
Not that Neil Reynolds’ men cared much; after a sequence of four defeats from their previous five Premier Division fixtures, these points will feel precious.
