NICKY Walker’s double helped Liversedge victory over Stockton Town.
Sedge opened the scoring in the 36th minute when a goalmouth scramble fell to Kurt Harris to tap home from close range. Gav Allott doubled the lead minutes later with a header.
Stockton cut the deficit early in the second half through a fantastic Mikey Roberts finish on the end of Shane Henry’s through ball. But Sedge were given a great chance to restore the advantage when the referee awarded an indirect free-kick inside the box which Walker smashed into the corner.
