■ COLNE came from a goal down to beat ten-man Widnes at the DCBL Stadium.
The fi rst half was far from a classic but the game sprung into life once Widnes’ River Humphreys was shown a second yellow card and sent off 11 minutes after the restart.
Widnes responded positively and were soon ahead when James Steele converted a penalty that he had himself won on the hour mark after a foul by Harry Cannon-Noren.
But Colne made their man advantage count and turned the game on its head within 15 minutes of going behind as a Sky Sinclair own goal ...
