Kendall extends lead atsummit

MATLOCK Town added to their advantage at the table’s summit after Reece Kendall’s first-half goal secured a fourth successive win.
The Gladiators, victors now in both meetings with Witton this season, are four points clear of their closest rivals.
“They won’t be selling DVDs of that one,” quipped manager Paul Phillips. “Witton threw everything at us, and deserved something, but we dug deep.”
