■ HARRY Vince struck a late equaliser as Stamford rescued a point against Cambridge City.
After a slow first half, the game came to life in the second period. Cambridge took the lead after a mix-up in the home box, the ball falling to an unmarked Michael Davis to smash home.
The second came from a Ryan Ingrey cross which fell to Davis who was again unmarked to drive in. Stamford got a goal back when Jon Challinor’s cross was cleared back out to him and he volleyed the ball straight back in from ten yards.
