The 20-year-old has been in fine fettle for the Dabbers this term, netting 17 goals, 14 of which came in the Premier Division.

He has now switched to their league rivals the Coasters, who are two places higher in the table in 12th having played four games fewer.

Sean Cooke boss Dave Challinor is excited by the prospect of seeing Cooke take the field for the Coasters and told the club’s website: “He’s a good footballer and is someone who has the ambition to play a lot higher.

“He’s a player that can provide goals, creativity, and will fit perfectly into the way we try and play and it gives us options of playing him in different positions and different systems.

“His delivery from set pieces is fantastic and his goal scoring record is brilliant.”
