STEVE CUNNINGHAM got his reign as Ashton United manager off to a winning start, appointed on Wednesday he guided his new charges to a comfortable victory.
Without a win in their last four games, Ashton got off to the perfect start when Jason Gilchrist marked his debut with the opening goal in the 17th minute, running onto a long ball played over the Rylands defence he rounded the keeper to slot the ball into the net.
