■ MOHAMMAD Qasim helped Brighouse to an important away win.
The visitors opened the scoring in the 19th minute when Qasim picked up a loose ball down the right before dummying a defender and firing into the roof of the net.
Just before half-time it was Qasim involved again as he worked his way down the left before squaring the ball back to Jack Boyle to fire home. Ten minutes into the second half, Stockton keeper Callum Roberts denied Qasim in a one-on-one while Matty Tymon’s low strike was saved well by Jamie Hassall for the visitors.
