RUSS RESCUES BRIG AGAIN

BAMBER Bridge had loanee striker Will Russ to thank, once more, as his dramatic late winner saw them travel home from Derbyshire victorious after a 1-0away result at Mickleover.
In a critical duel between two sides battling the dreaded drop zone, the visitors had the first real chance after six minutes when Adam Dodd’s looping cross found Russ, whose header sailed over.
Moments later, Liam Brockbank’s delivery led to another Russ headed opportunity which was also wide of the mark.
