JORDAN Scanlon bagged the only goal as Hyde United made it backto-back wins – and clean sheets – by edging out Lancaster City.
The visitors had goalkeeper Aidan Dowling to thank for keeping the score goalless for as long it was, as he made two great saves.
On nine minutes, Halifax loanee Frankie Sinfield went on a mazy run and opted to cut inside and shoot. However, Dowling stretched full length to his right to tip the effort round the post.
