■BOTTOM side Sheffield FC earned a vital win, as they beat Bishop Auckland.
Chances were at a premium in the early stages, Sheffield were the ones on top, but a close-range effort from Rory Coleman was the nearest the hosts came.
Towards the end of the half, the visitors started to be the aggressors, Jack Blackford lashed over a Gary Martin cross, while Louis Johnson forced a good save from Mikey Roxburgh at the near post. Roxburgh came to the hosts’ rescue in the second period, saving well from Joe Bartliff and Johnson.
