■PONTEFRACT Collieries suffered defeat to Bridlington Town, who secured a crucial three points in their fight for survival.
Bridlington struck first on the counter, as Alex Markham’s cross was met by Josh Barrett, who guided his header into the far corner. Barrett then doubled his tally, reacting quickest to a loose ball from a set-piece to put the visitors 2-0up.
