■ CONGLETON Town cemented their place in the play-off zone by coming from behind and beating local rivals Newcastle Town.
Tim Grice’s 15th-minute finish put the Bears ahead. He swivelled on the spot in the box, smashing a shot into the corner on the half-volley.
The visitors responded within seconds of the restart. After capitalising on a defensive error, Max McCarthy, firing a fantastic volley past Joe Slinn.
McCarthy then saw a 25-yarder superbly saved by goalkeeper Slinn.
