■ LIVERSEDGE remain rooted deep in the relegation battle as they lost at home to Bishop Auckland.
It took the visitors over an hour to break the deadlock, and it came through Andrew May as he powered a header home after the ball was played in from the right.
Liversedge’s day didn’t get any better shortly afterwards as goalkeeper Luke Jackson was shown a straight red after he took out Wayne Whitfield who had broken clear.
