■ NICK Rushton scored as Vauxhall Motors hung on for victory against nine-man Kidsgrove.
Ben Holmes opened the scoring for Motors, tapping home Kevin Ellison’s flick-on from Will Dunne’s corner.
Three minutes later, Paddy Kay burst forward and crossed to a diving Rushton to head home for his 15th goal of the season.
Shortly after half-time, Matt Rhead saw red for the visitors, before Rushton secured his brace from Dunne’s pass.
Athletic’s Tom Pope was then sent off, before Robbie Hatton pulled one back from the spot. Jimmy Garl...
