■ ASHFORD Town recorded a vital victory at Binfield on Friday night, the win temporarily lifting them outside the drop zone.
Coleridge Fubler Jr produced a great block to deny George Vorster and watched the rebound come off Archie Larkham before trickling wide. Vorster was wide with a powerful shot, before Ashford took lead in first half-stoppage time.
A corner caused chaos in the Moles’ box and after two attempts had been blocked, Jack Arnold shot through a crowd of players from 12 yards out.
