Craig Elliott’s men went ahead on the half-hour when Jordan Preston threaded a neat finish into the corner after Paddy Sykes’ header had been brilliantly clawed out of the top corner by goalkeeper Jordan Pierrepont.
However, they did not add to their tally after that.
Instead, the hosts hauled themselves level in the 54th minute when Carter Widdowson converted a penalty.
