AN EARLY goal from Taylor Bowen proved decisive as Leek Town edged out Workington to secure back-to-back 1-0home wins.
The Blackpool loanee netted after just two minutes when his header back across the face of goal from Hayden Campbell’s inswinging cross crept in at the far post to give the hosts the perfect start.
Workington were missing their top two scorers in Dav Symington and Stephen Rigg, and it showed as they struggled to create any chances of note.
