WORKINGTON treated another excellent Borough Park crowd to a final-day goal spree, registering their best win of the season. They put play-off bound United to the sword with a swashbuckling performance in which 16-year-old Alfie Mc-Donough emerged as man of the match.
The teenager celebrated his full Northern Premier League debut with a fine header after 14 minutes and a confident finish early in the second half. And the development squad product was given a standing ovation when he was substituted with 15 minutes to go.
