Hayes is the hero with super strike

KEV Hayes’ sublime long-range goal propelled Stockton Town to a home play-off semi-final against Guiseley on Tuesday night.
Both sides missed big chances in an even first half. Hyde went close when Harry Showman bore down on goal, but he couldn’t direct the ball beyond Nathan Harker, who stood tall to make a crucial save.
For Stockton, Lewis King floated in a lovely ball which was blazed over the crossbar by Adam Nicholson on the volley as the hosts looked to build early momentum.
