MICKLEOVER’S time at Step 3 came to an end with a final day victory over Prescot Cables.
The Derbyshire club have spent a decade in the third tier of Non-League football, with two spells in the Northern Premier League and a brief spell in the Southern League Premier Central. However, relegation was a confirmed a couple of weeks ago.
They started the game brightly with Dylan Edwards putting a shot on the turn just wide of the post from a Brandon Ferron dart down the wing.
