■RELEGATED Sherwood Colliery signed off from their time in the Northern Premier League with a narrow win over Grimsby Borough.
Charlie Clements got the game’s only goal after 14 minutes when, against the run of play, he was able to find the back of Liam Higton’s net.
They almost got a second just three minutes later when they got in behind the Grimsby defence, but Brad Wood had to snuff out the danger right in front of his goal.
