■FIRST-HALF goals from Lamin Manneh and Alex Howes were enough to earn Carlton Town a win at Bishop Auckland in joint-manager Tommy Brookbanks’s last game in charge.
Brookbanks had announced before the game that he was stepping down after 20 years in charge of Carlton over two spells and Manneh’s early strike followed by a near-post Howes effort on the stroke of half-time had the Millers in control. The hosts dominated the second half and saw visiting goalkeeper Felix Annan make save after save.
