Ian Richards hailed his Stocksbridge Park Steels heroes after they came through a penalty shoot-out to see off Dunston UTS and secure a return to the NPL Premier Division.
After the two sides battled to a goalless draw over a surprisingly low-key 120 minutes, Steels held their nerve from 12 yards as Tom Marshall scored the decisive spot-kick to send Richards and his players back to Step 3 for the first time in nine years.
