BEDWORTH secure first win of the season after beating high-flying Rugby Borough at The Oval.
After a pretty tame first half from both sides, the hosts had a glorious chance to take the lead in the 54th minute. A clever worked free kick from Ross Evans found an unmarked Parrott from 12 yards, but he could only head straight at Brandon Ganley in the Rugby goal.
Rugby then came the closest after 70 minutes as an Ellis Myles cross found Leo Stone, who rose highest to head but his effort bounced off the bar.
