■GRIMSBY BOROUGH took all three points to go nine unbeaten in the league, beating Blyth Spartans with the help of Storm Amy.
The home side used the conditions to full effect when a long ball found Charlie Burden-Whittleton one-on-one against Callum Dobson, and the forward finished well to give Grimsby the lead inside the first 25 minutes.
Blyth had the wind with them in the second half and looked most likely to score out of the two sides, with Arran Wearmouth’s close-range effort somehow kept out by the home side.
