ASH CHAMBERS’ firsthalf double was enough ■ for Carlton Town to secure a vital victory over St Neots Town.
After a sleepy start in which the visitors had more of the game, it was Carlton who opened the scoring as Ash Chambers expertly slotted past goalkeeper James Goff after latching on to a through ball from Niall Davie.
St Neots responded instantly with Michael Amaeshike scoring a back post header from a wicked Connor Furlong cross, but Chambers restored the lead on the stroke of half time with a smart finish.
