■ REDCAR ATHLETIC continued their fine form with a convincing victory over Garforth Town.
Having demolished Pontefract 5-1 in midweek, last season’s Northern League champions carried on where they left off with a rout in East Leeds.
The contest was all but over within the first half an hour. Brad Fewster and Danni Lay adding to Curtis Round’s powerful sixth-minute strike.
Garforth were adamant that the ball had crossed the line when Josh Mazfari fumbled late in the half, but the officials saw it differently.
