SALT HELPS VULCANS SOAR

A SECOND-HALF header from Harry Salt proved to be the difference between the two sides on a day when the blustery conditions dominated proceedings.
The home side had the better of the opening 45 minutes, with top scorer Kyle Hawley hitting the post, but were unable to break the deadlock until nine minutes after the break.
The diminutive Salt got on the end of a corner from the left, and his bullet header flew into the corner of the net to give his side the lead with his first league goal.
