■ALEX BARNETT was the hero for Kidsgrove as he came off the bench to turn this game around for the Grove and secure victory.
The hosts had been 1-0down as Stalybridge debutant Tunde Owolabi broke the deadlock after 55 minutes when he was left free in the area to head home a Charlie Doyle cross.
However, it was Barnett’s time to shine as he replaced Ritchie Sutton with 30 minutes to go to dramatic effect.
Firstly, he set up his player-manager Matt Rhead for the equaliser when his inch-perfect ball picked out the former Lincoln City man.
