■ AFTER an extended run in the FA Cup and Trophy, Sutton were at last back in league action.
The early exchanges were even until a long ball from the St Neots defence let Harvey Williams outpace the Sutton defence to score in the eighth minute.
In the 22nd minute, St Neots increased their lead when Rhys Thorpe scored after Sam Smith misjudged his tackle.
St Neots scored a third when Williams cut in from the left and fired in a 37th minute shot that left James Wren with no chance.
