GOALKEEPER Andy Wycherley saved a penalty in the sixth minute of added time to help Shifnal Town salvage a point and thwart leaders Lower Breck.
It was a final act of defiance by the visitors after they had withstood a spell of sustained late pressure late in the second half.
The afternoon had started with smiles too for Shifnal when Matthew Barnes-Ho-mer steered in an opening goal from close range after Craig Pritchard burst into the penalty area before crossing into the striker’s path.
