Tom Prodomo back in charge of Bashley

TOM PRODOMO feels he has “unfinished business” after returning as manager of struggling Evo-Stik Division One South & West club Bashley.

Bashley appoint

Prodomo replaces Steve Riley following his resignation two weeks ago with Bash rock bottom of the league having lost all 17 league games this season.

The returning boss spent a brief spell in charge of the club last season but was relieved of his duties in February.

He is now back and will need to get Bash picking up positive results if they want to avoid relegation to Step 5 – they are already 14 points adrift of safety.

Prodomo travelled with the team on Saturday as they lost 5-0 at Mangotsfield United, making it 79 goals conceded in just 17 games.

He said: “I know the task ahead is hard, I have unfinished business at Bashley, last season the results were changing in a positive way after just a few weeks before I was sacked.

“Now the chairman and board have changed, I feel that I can help the club turn the corner and can’t wait to get started with training.”
