Ray Duffy back as Hanwell Town boss for a third time

RAY DUFFY is back at for his third spell in charge, replacing Phil Granville at the Southern Central strugglers.

Granville and his assistant Dave were relieved of their duties following Saturday’s 3-0 defeat at high-flying .

Hanwell are currently 18th in the Southern Central with four wins, four draws and nine defeats so far this season.

Duffy, who left the club at the end of last season, has now returned after guiding Town to their highest ever league finish of seventh.

A club statement said: “Hanwell Town FC would like to place on record their gratitude to Phil and Dave for their hard work which saw the club during their tenure reach the third qualifying round of the , its best ever achievement in the competition.

“They are replaced by Ray Duffy, assisted by Mark Adams and Vince Purdue, returning for his third term of management at the club.”
