ANTHONY Edgar and Jonathan Edwards goals gave FC Romania a deserved opening-day win.
Hosts St Neots, who scored a consolation through Arel Amu, produced a disappointingly pallid performance.
The visitors battled hard in the first half and were rewarded a minute before the break when Edgar skilfully lobbed the home sht-stopper.
St Neots offered little after the break, with full- back Harvey Steel responsible for their best two efforts on goal.
