■ A HARD-FOUGHT battle ended with honours even as Aylesbury and Barton Rovers both missed penalties.
The Ducks had an early chance when they were awarded a penalty for a foul on Ezra Anthonio-Forde, but Max Hercules’ fifth-minute penalty was weak and easily save by Kyle Forster.
The visitors took the lead in the 18th minute, when Christopher Wreh showed great strength to shrug off two tackles before firing home.
