ABBEY ROAR BACK TO END DIDCOT RUN

DIDCOT’S 100 per cent league record was ended, despite Sam Barder’s pair of penalties securing a two-goal lead at half-time.
The visitors flew out of the traps with Louis Joyce notching within 90 seconds, racing towards Waltham keeper Ashlee Jones who hesitated to give the Town man the opener.
Parity was quickly restored by Nathaniel Orafu but Barder put Didcot back in front in the 13th minute, dusting himself down to score from 12 yards having been upended in the box.
