■ SHOLING had the game wrapped up inside 35 minutes thanks to goals from Conor Whiteley, Stuart Green and Bradley Targett.
Bideford had three attempts on goal during Sholing’s purple patch.
After a handball in the area by Ryan Cluett in the 33rd minute, Bidford assistant manager Ben Wood stepped up to take the resulting penalty, only to see it saved by Sholing keeper Ryan Gosney. If only Wood had converted it, the outcome might have been different.
