JACK ALEXANDER scored the winner 13 minutes from time to give Wantage Town their first away Southern League victory since they were promoted from the Hellenic League.
The home side continue to be hit by injuries and they were caught cold by a fourth-minute finish from Ryan Knight after James Hammond had an initial shot parried.
The visitors dominated until Biggleswade found their feet on the half-hour mark and equalised thanks to a well-worked goal. Lee Northfield found Ryan Inskip, who slipped through Pat McCafferty.
