■WARE recovered from their recent slump with this close-fought win over their third-placed opponents.
The visitors were well served by Ryan Frater at the back and Bernard Christie up front. By contrast the home side placed emphasis on their speedy wide men and it was Taufee Skandari’s cross after four minutes that was headed home by Leigh Rose. Two minutes later Skandari shot home from the edge of the area to double their lead.
The visitors were back in the game five minutes after the break when Frater converted from a free-kick.
