■ WANTAGE’S wait for a home win continues after gifting Welwyn two goals in the first seven minutes.
Kasper Kowalczyk’s rushed third-minute clearance fell straight to Welwyn’s Callum Taylor who returned with aplomb. And four minutes later a nervy Wantage dallied again at the back and George Ironton profited to score for the visitors.
