IT WAS a beautiful afternoon for football at the sun-drenched Oakfield, with relegated Barnstaple looking to play for pride as they took on an inconsistent Melksham side.
Barum have a much changed squad since the 2-1 Melksham win in the reverse fixture, but it looked as though Melksham were going to get the same result as Albie Hopkins broke the deadlock 15 minutes into the game.
However, two quick goals from Barnstaple via Turner and Phil Ormrod turned the game on its head as Barnstaple had the lead less than 15 minutes...
