■ KEMPSTON coped better with Hertford Town’s rather difficult Hertingfordbury Park 3G pitch and came away with a narrow victory.
They took the lead after 28 minutes, Seb Simpson’s corner being converted by Emmanuel Dahie. Hertford tried to get back into the game, but Kempston keeper George Rose was in good form and, it must be said, Hertford didn’t take their chances.
