REAL Bedford eased to a routine win over battling Ware at Wodson Park to move within one point of leaders Berkhamsted.
The hosts took a surprise lead after nine minutes when Stef Georgiou converted Johnny Allotey’s cross.
That advantage held until the break, but the visitors came out firing and Joey Evans fired in from Josh Setchell’s low centre after 51 minutes.
Ty Ward put the Pirates in front in the 67th minute after receiving an Evans through-ball and slotting past the home keeper.
